How can you find ease in these uncertain and threatening times? In this retreat/workshop, Mark and Polly will introduce a framework for practicing mindfulness and chanting in order to increase trust, compassion and ease with self and other, especially during confusion and conflict. Participants will learn a mix of meditation, mindfulness, relaxation, and chanting that will enhance their relationships with self, family, society and the Divine.

In preparation, please listen to episodes #47-50 of “Enemies: From War to Wisdom,” with Polly and Eleanor Johnson. Also, have a look at Mark Unno’s website at the University of Oregon where you can get acquainted with his ideas and teachings.

This commuter retreat will be held April 4th and 5th: 9AM-4:30PM with a lunch break of 1.5 hours, and Saturday, April 6: 9AM - 12:30PM.

Everyone is welcome, no matter your spiritual background or experience in mindfulness.
